It has been a long time waiting.
Hockey season is upon us.
For some, the start of Allen Americans hockey is a step towards normalcy. For me, a part of my life has come back. For Allen fans to come together and cheer as one voice, it makes us a part of something bigger than ourselves.
Even though we did not win the first game of the season (12/12/2020), I was still impressed with the lineup we had. The rookies showed well. We had very few penalty minutes (2). It was well played.
We had a short training camp and not much time to really form connections to gel as one. If this is how we play based from the fist game as a team. I am hoping for an exciting season for the 2020-2021 season.
I hope to see my hockey family at the home opener this Friday (12/18/2020)
