The change in support for the goaltending have been lacking for some time. This year we have the supporting cast for the goalie.
The penalties we have been taking were not intentional or because they were out of position. The rookies are playing the desire to move up in the system. It finally feels that the pieces are in place for a deep run.
Before you think, "We are only five games in," I know it is early to tell, but for fans to have hope so soon, it's hard not to love this years roster.
